(Ames, Iowa-AP) -- Oklahoma State splits a Big 12 baseball doubleheader with Iowa State.
Alan Bomer pitched Iowa State's first complete game of the season yesterday as the Cyclones beat Oklahoma State 4-to-1. O-S-U won the opener 7-to-6.
Bomer allowed seven hits, one earned run and two walks, while striking out a season-high eight batters. Iowa State's first run came on a wild pitch and the go-ahead run for the Cyclones came on T-J Bohn's R-B-I single.
The only run for Oklahoma State came in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Ali Modami.
In the opener, Paul Powell had a grand slam for the Cowboys. Rob Conway had a two-run homer for Iowa State.
