Frederick-AP) -- A former Altus Middle School teacher is going to prison for 20-years for his conviction on a lewd molestation charge.

Gene Paul Ray was sentenced to ten years in prison for each of two convictions of lewd molestation of a 12-year-old male student. Ray was found innocent of six other sexual charges involving two other students.

The families of the three boys are also suing Ray in civil court.
