(Lone Wolf) - Don and Betty Troub say it's fitting that something went wrong when they tried to register at the newly renovated Quartz Mountain State Park Lodge.
A computer glitch canceled the Troubs reservations today. Park officials quickly corrected the problem and got the Troubs their room.
The Troubs were some of the first guests at the lodge since it reopened after its 12-point-2 (M) million dollar renovation. A fire destroyed the old lodge in 1995.
The renovation project has been delayed for nearly two years. State officials and the construction company doing the renovations have squabbled over the project.
The lodge's director of sales and marketing says Quartz Mountain has lost more than two (M) million dollars in reservation revenue. Kelly Hinton says officials are planning a 200-thousand dollar marketing campaign to promote the lodge now that it's open.
