(Austin, Texas-AP) -- Texas gets a three-game sweep of Oklahoma in Big 12 Conference baseball.
This afternoon, Ryan Brooks homered in the second inning to lead the Longhorns to a 5-to-2 win over the Sooners.
The victory moves Texas into a first-place tie in the conference standings with Baylor.
O-U took a 1-to-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but the Longhorns scored two runs on Sooner errors and a wild pitch in the bottom half of the inning to go ahead 2-to-1.
After the Sooners tied the game on an R-B-I-double from Jerome Godsey, Texas regained the lead with Brooks' first career home run to start the bottom of the second.
