LOS ANGELES (CP) -Actors Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have signed on to be executive producers for a new reality series for ABC, Entertainment Weekly reports on its EW.com Web site.

The Runner will premiere this fall. It's being billed as a cross between Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego and The Fugitive.

A contestant will try to run across the country in 28 days while TV viewers are given clues about the runner's whereabouts. Registered viewers can then ``catch'' the runner, if he's running in their neighbourhood, for example. The prize money will increase each day that the runner isn't caught. The game will end either when a viewer catches the runner or the runner finishes the trip.
