(Shawnee-AP) -- The Sac and Fox Nation is hiring an Oklahoma City company to build and manage an Indian casino in Shawnee.
Tribal officials say Premier Assets will build the casino in three phases on land near the intersection of Interstate 40 and Oklahoma Highway 18.
The three-and-a-half (m) million dollar casino is to be the largest tribal gaming center in the state, offering bingo, machine gaming, blackjack and off-track betting. A restaurant will also be included.
The second phase of the project calls for a travel plaza, convenience store, fast-food restaurant and a smokeshop.
The final phase is to include a hotel and convention center.
