Officials in Terre Haute, Indiana, are looking for federal money to help pay for training and overtime expected with Tim McVeigh's execution. James Cross is executive assistant at the US Penitentiary. Cross says the requests for more than $90,000 in crowd-control training and overtime pay have been forwarded to the Bureau of Prison. Cross says no decision has been made on the request, but he says the bureau understands the needs of local officials.
McVeigh is scheduled to be put to death May 16th for the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building that killed 168 people.
