(Tulsa-AP) -- Sixth-ranked Jenks upsets Number One Tahlequah 56-to-44 in the Six-A girls basketball championship today.
After taking a 24-to-22 halftime lead, Jenks jumped out with an 8-and-two run. Megan Curley led the way for the Trojans, scoring six of her nine points during that time.
Tahlequah's main offensive threat, Jenni Lingor, only scored three points during the quarter, but finished with 16 points.
Lindsey Forsberg propelled the Trojans on a 10-0 run, scoring nine of her game-high 20 points in the quarter. Samantha Stovall added 10 points for Jenks.
Tahlequah only scored nine points in the fourth quarter and couldn't answer Jenks late.
Alicia Keys paced Tahlequah with 11 points.
The win is Jenks' second consecutive championship.
