(Kansas City, Missouri-AP) -- The Oklahoma State Cowgirls open the Big 12 Conference Tournament today at noon by taking on Kansas.

O-S-U goes into the tournament as the eighth seed with a 14-and-13 overall record. The Cowgirls were 6-and-10 in conference play.

Kansas ended the year 11-and-16, 5-and-11 in the Big 12.

Today's winner takes on top-seeded Oklahoma tomorrow at noon.
