(Oklahoma City-AP) -- High heating bills and proposals to revoke three teaching certificates are on the agenda for the state Board of Education tomorrow.
State schools Superintendent Sandy Garrett says more than 450 districts responded to a recent survey on heating bills. She says the district's November and December heating bills were a total of more than five (m) million dollars higher than the year before.
The board is also to consider revoking the certificates of teachers Sherry Lynn Latham, Ronald Mitchell and Dennis Addington.
Latham was convicted of killing her boyfriend, Addington pleaded guilty to possessing obscene material involving a minor and Mitchell pleaded guilty in 1998 to lewd molestation charges.
