(Dallas-AP) -- Oklahoma State's Scott Baker is the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference baseball pitcher of the week.

The true freshman from Shreveport, Louisiana won his collegiate debut last week, pitching five shutout innings in O-S-U's 17-to-nothing win over U-C Riverside. The six-foot-four right-hander gave up just two hits while walking one.

Oklahoma State is 3-and-oh on the young season and travels to Florida this weekend for two games against Boston College as well as games against Florida Atlantic and Miami.
