(Edmond-AP) -- Central Oklahoma golf coach Skip Wagnon has received N-C-A-A Division Two coach of the year honors for District Six.

Wagnon is in his 15th year as coach and athletic director at U-C-O. Wagnon led the Bronchos to two tournament championships including the school's first-ever Lone Star Conference title. U-C-O also had five runner-up finishes last year.

Wagnon has guided the Bronchos to six division Two national tournament appearances and has had three top-ten finishes. He's coached 13 All-Americans, including one national champion.

The Bronchos have four starters returning this season and will enter the spring season ranked tenth. U-C-O opens the 2001 season at the district qualifier in Tyler, Texas in March.
