(Tulsa-AP) -- A Tulsa police officer has been suspended after he was charged with groping and improperly strip searching a 20-year-old woman while on duty.

Orlanda C. Lacy was charged yesterday with sexual battery. Authorities say Lacy is accused of touching a woman's breasts, telling her to pull her pants down to her ankles and shining a flashlight on her buttocks.

Lacy has been on the force for more than three years. He was suspended with pay on January 16th.

Lacy claims to have no knowledge of the incident. A prosecutor says the victim didn't suffer physical injuries but that her version of the story was corroborated in a number of ways.
