For the second time this week, a man has tried to grab a little girl in east Tulsa. It happened near Disney Elementary school, east of 21st and Garnett.
This time, two little girls were selling Girl Scout cookies when the man approached them. Tulsa Police officers are now doing a street by street canvass for the man.
Tulsa Police describe the suspect as a white male, 25 to 30 years of age, dirty blond hair, and brown eyes.
Saturday’s incident sounds strikingly similar to the one Thursday. A man fitting the same description driving the same described vehicle tried to lure the 11-year-old girls to go with him. Two other similarities, both incidents happened near 121st East Ave and 26th St and at about 3:30 PM. Police have interviewed the two girls. The girls told police they'd been going door to door selling Girl Scout cookies on their scooters. That is when the man approached them. They say he was in his vehicle and was trying to get them to get in with him, but a car came up behind him and spook him away.
In Thursday's incident the 10-year old girl told police the man grabbed her by the shirt and tore it while she was walking home from school. She kicked him in the groin and ran away.
Police are warning parents to keep an eye out.
