Stoops says he's not leaving

A newspaper report in Cleveland indicates that Browns owner Al Lerner may quietly try to hire the Oklahoma coach.

Stoops tells the Tulsa World that he has no plans to leave Oklahoma.

Stoops says he can't stop people from talking, or rumors regarding the Browns job until after the N-F-L team hires a new coach.

Stoops says it's a compliment that people are interested because it shows that others recognize the solid program at O-U.
