Some high school wrestlers put a choke hold on crime this week. Webster High School wrestlers were practicing Monday, when a fellow student ran by saying he was chasing four boys who had broken into his truck, and stolen CDs and watches. The wrestlers and their coaches also took up the chase.
The group caught three of the four suspects at the high school football stadium. While this tale had a good ending, police don't recommend chasing after criminals. "It turned out good but we never really recommend that anyone jump into a situation,†said Tulsa Police Officer Lucky Lamons. “The best thing to do is call 9-1-1, and get the police out there as fast as you can. This did work out, but it's not something we suggest every time."
The three suspects that were caught are 17, 15 and 14-years-old. One of them was carrying a knife.
