(Okmulgee-AP) -- The district attorneys in Okmulgee and Tulsa counties disagree over who should prosecute a teen-ager accused of stabbing another teen-ager to death.

Okmulgee County prosecutor Tom Giulioli says the victim died in Tulsa and that state law allows the prosecutor there to take the case.

Tulsa County prosecutor Tim Harris disagrees. Harris says the case must be prosecuted in the county where the crime occurred. The stabbing took place in Okmulgee County.

Nineteen-year-old Thomas Connell Curran the Third faces a first-degree murder complaint for the death of 19-year-old Justin Archambo.

Authorities say a school rivalry may have led to the stabbing.
