Harrah police investigate car tag decal theft

(Harrah-AP) -- Harrah police say someone stole five-thousand automobile tag decals from Harrah Tag.

Police Chief Rick Reier says he will ask law officers to check decal numbers when they check motorists' license plate numbers. He hopes that will help catch the thief The decals were 2001 stickers for motor boats and automobiles.

Some cost up to 90 dollars.

Reier says the theft happened sometime Monday night or early Tuesday.

A camera used to make drivers' license photographs was also stolen.
