(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma basketball coach Kelvin Sampson says each time the Sooners take two steps forward, they take one step back.

After losing to fifth-ranked Kansas last weekend Sampson said O-U was still a good team. But after losing last night to Texas Tech he says he's not so sure.

Sampson says he's disappointed with the way the team competed in the first half and is also concerned about the lack of a shooting touch.

In the past two games O-U has hit just 32 and 35 percent of all shots, making a combined 43-of 129 field goal attempts.

Sampson says there's no reason to push the panic button, he says he'll just keep things simple and try to improve before Saturday's road game against Kansas State.
