It was the Golden Hurricane's eleventh straight victory over the Spartans.

Kevin Johnson added 15 points for Tulsa. Darnell Williams had a season-high 23 points for San Jose State.

The Golden Hurricane led 37-to-32 at halftime.

Williams opened the second half by scoring six points during an 8-and-4 run that gave the Spartans a 42-to-41 lead.

Tulsa is now 10-and-5 overall and 1-and-1 in the Western Athletic Conference. San Jose State is 8-and-6 overall and 0-and-3 in the conference.
