(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa police are looking for a convicted sex offender who did not register with local police, and is now wanted on charges of sexually assaulting another child.

Terry Lynn Phillippe is charged with the sexual abuse of a seven-year-old boy in Tulsa and failure to register as a sex offender. He was convicted in Wagoner County in 1991 of two counts of lewd or indecent proposals or acts with a child but Tulsa police say he never registered with them while living in the city.

Convicted sex offenders are required by state law to register with local police when they're released.

Tulsa detective Pete Irvine says Phillipe has not been seen since shortly after the boy's mother reported the molestation in November.
