(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Florist company Teleflora is cutting its Oklahoma City work force, just six weeks after saying all employees would be retained.

Teleflora acquired Oklahoma City-based American Floral Services in November and said then that all 350 employees would keep their jobs and more employees would be hired.

However, about 75 employees were handed pink slips yesterday.

Chief Operating Officer Mike Weinman says the company is undergoing some restructuring.

Weinman isn't specific about why positions were cut, but generally blames duplication and the need for certain skills.

He says no more Oklahoma City employees are expected to lose their jobs.
