(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Governor Keating is reiterating his support for the death penalty.

Keating calls capital punishment a statement of moral outrage.

He says it's justice sought and received.

Keating also says he supports D-N-A testing in questionable cases. The governor says he doesn't want an innocent person executed under any circumstance.

A bill by state Representative Opio Toure would place a moratorium on executions in Oklahoma.

Also, the Reverend Jesse Jackson led an anti-death penalty march in the state last week.

Keating spoke with Jackson before last Thursday's march. He says he told Jackson they disagree on the issue.

Eight executions are to take place over the next four weeks in Oklahoma, beginning tomorrow night when condemned killer Eddie Leroy Trice is to be put to death.
