(Oklahoma City-AP) -- State Labor Commissioner Brenda Reneau-Wynn says an annual survey shows that workplace safety programs are successful.

Reneau-Wynne says the report released yesterday is a review of businesses that are placed on a high-hazard list for employee injuries. She says the current list of 62 high-hazard employers is down from 89 that were on the list in 1996.

Reneau-Wynne says safety programs offered by the Labor Department are also helping reduce the number of workplace deaths and injuries.
