(Okmulgee-AP) -- Prosecutors in Okmulgee County are using dates, handwritten notes and computer e-mails to amend sex-related charges against a former teacher.

Ronald Kinley Cunningham is accused of having a sexual relationship with a then 14-year-old girl who was one of his students.

The charges include rape by instrumentation, oral sodomy, lewd and indecent proposals and possessing obscene material.

Prosecutor Rob Barris says the amended charges were filed in response to a defense motion that claims the allegations were too vague.

Cunningham has resigned as a teacher at Preston Middle School and is free on a 140-thousand dollar bond.
