Northwest

Canton: Lake elevation is normal; habitat condition is fair on the lake (crops on private land are poor); duck numbers are moderate (mostly mallards); goose numbers are good (mostly Canada). Hunter activity is low for ducks and moderate for geese. A significant movement of geese into the area has occurred the past couple of weeks

Ft. Supply: Lake elevation is 1 ft. below normal. Habitat conditions are fair (scattered native food available and wheat is fair-good); duck numbers are fair (mostly mallards); goose numbers are fair. Hunter activity is low.
Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge: No count, very few birds and lots of ice.

Washita National Wildlife Refuge: Lake elevation is normal; food conditions are poor. Duck numbers are fair: mallard (1721); gadwall (53); wigeon (18); pintail (30); green-winged teal (128); shoveler (42); canvasback (9); redhead (5); lesser scaup (1); bufflehead (23); common goldeneye (34); hooded merganser (254); common merganser (301); red-breasted merganser (39). Goose numbers are good: Canada (16681); white-fronted (73); snow/blue (2747) and ross (808).


Southwest

Ft. Cobb: Lake elevation is normal; habitat conditions are fair; duck numbers are high (mostly mallards); goose numbers are high. Hunter activity is moderate and success is moderate. Ducks and geese are moving from lake to private land crops early and late.
Hackberry: 2,800 acres flooded; habit condition is fair (flooded milo, Japanese millet, wild millet and other native plants); duck numbers are low and goose numbers are low. Hunter activity is moderate on weekends and success is poor.

Mtn. Park: Lake elevation is 3.5 ft below normal; habitat conditions are fair (wheat is fair). Duck numbers are low and goose numbers are moderate-high. Hunter numbers are moderate and success is moderate.

Waurika: No Report.


Northeast

Chouteau: All units are frozen; habitat condition is good (smartweed, barnyard grass and bidens).

Copan: Lake Elevation is 1.6 ft. below normal ,duck numbers are low, goose numbers low. The lake is frozen.

Deep Fork National Wildlife Refuge: No report
Eufaula: Lake elevation normal; habitat condition is poor, duck and goose numbers are low. Hunter activity is moderate-high as weather permits. Success has been fair-good.
Ft. Gibson: Lake elevation is below normal; habitat condition is good (smartweed, barnyard grass, wheat and milo); duck and goose numbers are fair. Hunter activity is low, but success has been good.

Hulah: Lake Elevation is 0.3 ft. above normal ; duck and goose numbers are low. Lake is frozen.

Kaw: Lake elevation 1.6 ft. above normal; habitat condition is good (waterfowl are staying on the open water at night and using grain fields during the day), duck and goose numbers are fair. Hunter activity is low, and success is low.

Keystone: Lake elevation .2 ft. above normal; habitat condition is poor (cropland is covered by ice/snow); duck and goose numbers are low. Hunter activity and success is low.

Oologah: No Report.

Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge: Lake elevation is normal. Habitat conditions are fair. Duck numbers are good: mallards (9000); gadwall (960); wigeon (50); pintail (50); green-winged teal (240); canvasback (2); ring-necked (10); bufflehead (2) and hooded merganser (4). Goose numbers are low: snow/blue (5240); Canada (105).

Sooner: Lake elevation is 3 ft. below normal; habitat conditions is fair (winter wheat fair-good); duck numbers are good (mallards and gadwall); goose numbers are fair. Hunter activity is moderate and success is fair.

Webbers Falls: Lake elevation is normal; habitat condition is good (smartweed, barnyard grass, corn and bidens); Units are frozen.


Southeast

Hugo: Lake is above normal; habitat condition is fair (Japanese millet and moist soil plants); duck numbers are fair (mallards, ringnecks, ruddy); goose numbers are poor. Hunter activity and success is low.

Little River National Wildlife Refuge: Habitat conditions are fair/good; duck numbers are fair: mallards (850); gadwall (1425); wigeon (200); hooded merganser (55) and wood duck (655). No geese are present.

Red Slough: All moist soil units are full; habitat conditions are good (Japanese millet, moist soil plants). Duck numbers are excellent (mallards, pintails, gadwall and shoveler); goose numbers are low. Hunter activity is low. Hunter success is excellent.

Texoma: Lake elevation is 618 ft.; habitat condition is good (food is flooded at a usable level); duck numbers are good and goose numbers are low. Hunter activity is high and success is fair.

Tishamingo National Wildlife Refuge: No Report.

Wister: Lake elevation is 1 ft. above normal. Habitat condition is fair with native vegetation in shallow water (smartweed, sedges, barnyard grass). Duck numbers are fair and goose numbers are low. Hunter activity is high but success is low.
