(Guthrie-AP) -- The district attorney of Logan County says he will fill an embezzlement charge against the former county sheriff.
Sheriff Craig Platt resigned this week after the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation completed a probe into missing money at the sheriff's department.
District Attorney Rob Hudson received the report Friday.
State agents began checking on reports of money missing from the department's evidence room and missing drug forfeiture money in July. They also investigated a report that a county credit card was misused.
O-S-B-I spokeswoman Kym Koch says the report is confidential.
