(Tulsa, Okla.-AP) -- Oklahoma State's Maurice Baker scored 25points and sank crucial free throws in the last seconds to lead the Cowboys to a 74-73 upset of Number 21 Arkansas tonight. The Cowboys overcame a 12-point deficit and took the lead with two-and-a-half minutes remaining. Arkansas trailed by two points when Baker sank two free throws with nine seconds left to seal the victory for Oklahoma State. Joe Johnson led Arkansas with 22 points, including a three-pointer that he scored just as time ran out. T-J Cleveland and Teddy Gipson each added eleven points for the Razorbacks. Arkansas moved ahead in the first half and held the lead until four-and-a-half minutes remained. But Oklahoma State's Fredrik Jonzen and Victor Williams combined in a drive that enabled Williams to tie the game at 62 on a three-pointer. That's when Baker came on strong up the middle with back-to-back baskets, gently depositing the second one as Oklahoma State took a lead it never gave up. Jonzen finished with 19 points and Williams had 13.
