(Vinita-AP) -- Vinita police have arrested two Craig County jailers on complaints of smuggling marijuana into the jail.

Authorities say Leeann Mayberry of Vinita and Mary Lane Wilson of Chelsea were taken into custody yesterday after an all-night investigation. Investigators say they found two small bags of marijuana inside the jail.

County Sheriff George Vaughn says his department received a tip about the drug being smuggled into the jail.

Vaughn says the investigation was turned over to Vinita police after it was determined the smuggling was an inside job.
