ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) â€” Good genes may have helped 72-year-old Rudy Boesch keep up with the younger contestants on the summer hit television show ``Survivor.''

His mother, Clara, turns 99 on Tuesday. And she is in ``incredible shape,'' according to an official at her nursing home.

Boesch, who will help celebrate his mother's birthday, will be making his first visit home since the show ended in August.

Boesch, a former Navy SEAL, was one of the last three contestants on the island vying for the $1 million prize eventually won by Richard Hatch.
