(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops says he doesn't see the disadvantage to playing a team twice in the same year.

The top-ranked Sooners play Kansas State this Saturday night in the Big 12 championship game.

O-U beat the Wildcats earlier this year, and now has to beat them again in order to play for the national championship game.

Stoops says his players have been in several tough situations this season and have handled them all well.

He says this game with Kansas State has nothing to do with the last one, and that his players will be extremely confident when they take the field.
