Simmons' successor remains unclear

(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State Athletic Director Terry Don Phillips admits he still has no clue who will succeed Bob Simmons -- and Phillips is the one who is supposed to choose that coach.
Phillips has interviewed two candidates about the job.
They are Western Michigan coach Gary Darnell and Dallas Cowboys assistant coach Les Miles.
Phillips says others will also be considered for the job.
He says the fact that about a dozen Division One-A football programs need head coaches is slowing the process.
Despite the difficulties, Phillips says he's feeling no undue pressure to hurry and make a decision on a new coach.
