Several Tulsa Republicans protested the Florida recounts here at home. "Bush won, Bush won, Bush won, Bush won."

More than 100 Bush supporters protested near city Hall in Tulsa Saturday afternoon. They learned about the impromptu gathering on the Internet. One friend e-mailed another and the chants began.

The Oklahoma Republican Party chairman says he knew nothing about the demonstration. Steve Edwards, "we don't have anything to do with it. I got a e-mail and decided I better come down to support our people. Because this is spontaneous."

One of the protestors, Chris Medlock, "we aren't sure who organized it. Everybody just showed up from the e-mail. All unified by the fact that we do not like what is happening in Florida right now."

Many people drove by and honked in support. Some others gave thumbs down.
