A list of some of the hottest selling toys this holiday season, with manufacturers' suggested retail prices, according to an informal survey of several major retailers:
_AMAZING BABIES: Ethnically diverse, interactive babies come to life at the sound of your voice. (Playmates, $49.99)
_DIVA STARZ: Interactive divas talk to each other and know when they're wearing each other's clothes. (Mattel, $30)
_HARRY POTTER TRIVIA GAME: Consumers get to test their knowledge of the Harry Potter world as they embark on an adventure. (Mattel, $49.99, pewter pieces)
_HIT CLIPS: Micro-sized chips the size of a postage stamp contain single music samples from Britney Spears to 'N Sync and can be played on an assortment of micro-players. (Tiger Electronics, a division of Hasbro, $7.99 to $24.99)
_HOLIDAY BARBIES: There's Brandy, who comes with a microphone and sounds like a diva; and Angel, who has golden highlights and a sheer stole. (Brandy, $32.99; Angel, $49.99)
_LEGO CHAMPIONSHIP CHALLENGE: The set, Lego's first foray into sports-theme merchandise, offers a box full of bricks that creates a soccer stadium. (Lego, $54.99)
_LET'S PRETEND ELMO: When kids form Elmo's arms, legs or hands into a pose, he pretends he is someone else, like a monster, a puppy, an airplane, and more. (Fisher-Price, $29.99)
_ROBOTIC DOGS: These pets can do everything from wag their tail to respond to sound, light and touch. Best sellers include Tiger Electronics' Poo-Chi ($24.99) and more advanced Super Poo-Chi ($49.99); Manley Toy Quest's Tekno dog ($39.99) and Fisher-Price's Rocket The Wonder Dog. ($99.99)
_SCOOTERS: The scooter craze still isn't over. The most popular brand Razor U.S.A. offers various versions from $99.99 for a basic model to a deluxe version at $149.99 with a wheelie bar, tail lights and shocks.
_VIDEO-GAMES:
_Game Boy: The handheld video game player is still selling well. (Nintendo, $69.99) Hot games: ``Pokemon'' Gold and Silver, retailing each for $35.
_Nintendo 64: Sales of the game console are still strong. (Nintendo, $99) Hot game: Sega's ``Legend of Zelda: Majora Mask,'' priced at $59.
