Oklahoma's Holleyman, Klein stop Texas Tech's Williams.
The Sooners improved to 10-0 with a 27-13 victory over the Red Raiders on Saturday and collected 70 of the 71 first-place votes in The Associated Press Top 25 poll released Sunday.
Oklahoma won by two touchdowns, but coach Bob Stoops said his team made too many mistakes.
``Turnovers, dropping the ball, penalties, blocked kicks, those kind of things you can't have,'' Stoops said. ``We need to get some work done this week if we're going to continue to push like we want to.''
Florida State, which completed its regular season with a 30-7 win over Florida, received the other first-place vote but was still No. 3 behind No. 2 Miami, a 26-0 winner over Syracuse on Saturday.
The Sooners, Hurricanes (9-1) and Seminoles (11-1) are 1-2-3 for the third week in a row. The Gators (9-2) fell from No. 4 to No. 7.
Washington (10-1), which clinched a Rose Bowl berth with a 51-3 victory over Washington State, moved up two places to No. 4 in balloting by the AP panel of sports writers and broadcasters.
Oregon State (10-1), a 23-13 winner over Oregon, jumped three places to No. 5. The Ducks (9-2) fell five places to No. 10.
Oklahoma, with games remaining against Oklahoma State and then Kansas State in the Big 12 title game, had 1,774 points; Miami 1,681 points; and Florida State 1,645 points. Last week, the Seminoles trailed the Hurricanes by 61 points; this week the gap is 36 points.
In the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll, the top five were Oklahoma, Miami, Florida State, Washington and Virginia Tech.
The latest Bowl Championship Series standings, which determine who plays in a national title game in the Orange Bowl on Jan. 3, will be released today. Oklahoma was expected to remain in first place with Florida State likely to jump past Miami and into second place.
The BCS standings use the AP media poll and the coaches' poll, eight computer rankings, schedule strength and number of losses to determine the top two teams for its title game.
The AP national champion is decided after the Orange Bowl, with voters selecting a final Top 25 to be released early Jan. 4. In the coaches poll, the winner of the Orange Bowl automatically is crowned champion.
Rounding out the Top 10 in the AP poll were No. 6 Virginia Tech, No. 7 Florida, No. 8 Kansas State, No. 9 Nebraska and No. 10 Oregon.
Notre Dame (8-2), with a 45-17 win over Rutgers, stayed put at No. 11, followed by No. 12 Texas, No. 13 TCU, No. 14 Purdue, No. 15 Clemson, No. 16 Michigan, No. 17 Auburn, No. 18 Georgia Tech, No. 19 Georgia and No. 20 Northwestern.
Ohio State, a 38-26 loser to Michigan, fell nine places to No. 21, followed by No. 22 Texas A&M, No. 23 Mississippi State, No. 24 LSU and No. 25 Tennessee.
LSU (7-3) is making its first appearance of the season in the Top 25, while Tennessee (7-3) returns for the first time since the Sept. 30 poll.
South Carolina (7-4), a 16-14 loser to Clemson, and Southern Mississippi (7-3), which lost to Cincinnati 27-24, dropped out of the rankings.
