(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Governor Keating says he sees nothing wrong with Republican legislators trying to get their Democratic colleagues to come over to the G-O-P.

Three Democratic representatives say they were approached by Republicans about the issue since last week's election.

The Republicans gained eight seats in the election, but fell three seats short of taking control of the House.

Democratic Representative Larry Roberts says the Republican who approached him was only joking.

Democratic Representatives Billy Mitchell and Charles Gray also say they were approached about switching sides. Neither accepted.

Keating says he's not involved in the recent effort to gain G-O-P members, but says it would be great if it happened.
