(Detroit-AP) -- Former Oklahoma State star Barry Sanders says don't expect to see him play football again.
Sanders made that message loud and clear by posting it on his new Web site. It was the same message that the Detroit Lions star made the day he retired from football.
Sanders says he retired because his desire for the game had left.
He needed only 14-hundred-and-58 yards when he retired to surpass Walter Payton's N-F-L rushing record of 15-thousand-269 yards.
Sanders says his new Web site will be a place for credible information about his N-F-L days and his life. It features a message board, a store and information on his background and statistics.
Sanders says away from football he's been traveling, golfing and tending to business and family matters.
