For the second time in a week, a Skiatook school employee has been fired over locker room video tapes.

After hours of debate Tuesday night and lasting into Wednesday morning, the Skiatook School Board fired Garry Ferguson for his involvement in turning over the tapes to The News on 6. The videotapes show girls undressing as well as former coach Harry Red Eagle, Junior placing the camera in a locker.

Ferguson says he and a co-worker turned the tapes over to The News on 6, because they feared what would happen if they turned the tapes over to the Skiatook superintendent who is Red Eagle's father.

Ferguson was the assistant principal at Skiatook High School. He says he was only trying to do what was right and keep his job. “If it had been any other employee besides Noony Red Eagle, the son of the superintendent, there would be no question as to how I would go about doing it."

Ferguson says he may seek further legal action against the school district for its actions.
