(Tulsa-AP) -- Four children and a Tulsa Public Schools bus driver are being examined at Tulsa hospitals following a school bus accident this morning.

An E-M-S-A spokesman says two boys, two girls and the bus driver received bumps and bruises in the accident. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The bus and a mini van collided. A school district spokesman says the bus driver was cited for failure to yield.

The bus was transporting seven special needs students to various Tulsa middle schools when the accident took place.

The parents of all the students involved in the accident were notified.
