(Oklahoma City-AP) -- U.S. Senator Don Nickles is a movie star, of sorts.

Nickles is one of several senators who were filmed in a Washington reception scene for a new movie starring Michael Douglas.

The movie stars Douglas as a conservative judge appointed to head up the nation's drug war only to find out that his own daughter is an addict.

Nickles communications director Brook Simmons says it's not guaranteed that Nickles' scene will appear in the movie. Simmons says Nickles donated to charity the money he got for the appearing in the movie.
