(Oklahoma City-AP) -- As the Oklahoma high school football playoffs get under way, the biggest favorite is probably Class B's Pioneer.

The Mustangs are ten-and-oh, and just one opponent has managed to stay within 30 points of them. That was in the season-opener when Pioneer beat Kremlin-Hillsdale 34-to-eight.

Pioneer has won 24 in a row, and is trying to win the Class B title for the fourth time in the past five years under head coach John Kerr.

Kerr admits it's been difficult at times to keep his team motivated. He says the players know if they play well they're probably only going to get to play a half.

The Mustangs first-round opponent is Burns Flat-Dill City, which lost to Pioneer 40-to-nothing in last year's championship game. The Eagles are also the last team to defeat Pioneer, handing the Mustangs a loss during the 1998 playoffs.
