(Undated-AP) -- Nebraska and Kansas State are ready for their showdown to determine the likely winner of the Big 12 Conference North Division.
The fourth-ranked Cornhuskers travel to Manhattan, Kansas, on Saturday to take on the Number 16 Wildcats. The winner probably will get a rematch with top-ranked Oklahoma in the league championship on December second.
Nebraska yesterday played its first game since losing to O-U and falling from the top of the polls. The Cornhuskers beat Kansas 56-to-17.
K-State rebounded from a two-game losing streak on Saturday with a 56-to-10 win over Iowa State.
Meanwhile, the Sooners are gearing up for a Big 12 South battle with 23rd-ranked Texas A-and-M. The Aggies had to fight yesterday to beat Oklahoma State 23-to-16.
Texas beat Texas Tech 29-17 and plays Kansas next weekend.
Also on tap are Missouri at Baylor; the Cowboys at Texas Tech and Iowa State at Colorado.
