(Tulsa, Oklahoma-AP) -- Tomorrow's game between eleventh-ranked T-C-U and unranked Tulsa features two teams and a conference searching for some respect.

The Golden Hurricane will have to contain T-C-U running back LaDainian Tomlinson. He's one of the nation's leading ground-gainers and scorers with an average 195 yards and more than 14 points a game.

Tulsa coach Keith Burns says Tomlinson is as good a back as he's ever gone up against.

As for T-C-U, Horned Frogs coach Dennis Franchione isn't taking Tulsa lightly. He says the Golden Hurricane are playing with passion and have a good quarterback, running back and receivers.

Tulsa already has won one game more than last season and it has the Western Athletic Conference's top-ranked receiver in Donald Shoals. He's averaging 106-point-three yards a game and is fourth nationally in receiving yards and second in the country in punt returns.
