EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The injury bug has gotten Jason Sehorn again.

The New York Giants cornerback, who is engaged to ``Law & Order'' star Angie Harmon, broke a rib below his right collarbone while making an interception on the first play from scrimmage Sunday.

It was not immediately clear how long Sehorn will be sidelined, but Giants coach Jim Fassel said he could miss up to three weeks.

The Giants are off next Sunday, following their 19-14 win over Dallas.

Sehorn, who has had season-ending injuries the last two years, landed on the back of his right shoulder after jumping in front of Raghib Ismail to intercept Troy Aikman's pass.

He left the field for X-rays and returned late in the first quarter without his jersey and shoulder pads. He stood on the sideline as Dr. Russell Warren, the Giants orthopedic surgeon, held up the X-rays to look at them.

Trainers wrapped his shoulder minutes later and he sat on the bench.

Sehorn led the Giants with 43 tackles this season and seemed to be getting back to the form that made him one of the NFL's top cornerbacks.

Sehorn missed the entire 1998 season after hurting his knee returning a kickoff in a preseason game.

He played in only 10 games last season. He was sidelined early with a hamstring injury and then for the season on Dec. 5 after breaking his leg.

Both of Sehorn's major injuries were against the New York Jets.
