Duck, merganser and coot season opens Zone 1. (Runs through Dec. 03, re-opens Dec. 09, through Jan. 14, 2001. Consult Oklahoma Waterfowl regulations for Zone 1 boundaries and other regulations. Dove season closes.

November 1
Quail season opens; Pheasant season opens, North and N.W.

November 3

Sandhill Crane season opens, hunting allowed west of I-35 only. (runs through Feb. 04, 2001). Fall Turkey gun season opens (closed in S.E. counties)

Reservations being taken for Fall Foliage Walk at Wichita MountainsWildlife Refuge on 11/11,12, and 18. For reservations: 580/429-3222, between 8am - 4:30pm.
