JAY, Okla. (AP) -- An assistant high school band director and teacher's aide who pleaded no contest to giving beer to minors has resigned.

Dustin Holland submitted his resignation to the school board Thursday night, a month after his plea in Mayes County District Court on Sept. 12.

Holland was arrested by a Spavinaw police officer for supplying beer to two underage boys, officials said.
