(Stillwater-AP) -- The Oklahoma State Cowgirls' equestrian team will open the fall western season this weekend.

The team travels to Canyon, Texas, to compete in three western shows starting Friday afternoon.

The first event is Friday at 3 p-m, followed by two shows Saturday.

Saturday's first show is at 8 a-m and the second begins at 1 p-m.

The Cowgirls will host three shows on October 20th and 21st.
