LeFlore County couple found dead in home

(Howe-AP) -- A well-known former LeFlore County businessman and his wife were found dead in their home this morning. Authorities say Curtis and Gloria Plummer are apparent victims of a robbery that turned into murder.

Plummer recently sold a beverage distributorship and owned a large amount of land.

District Attorney Rob Wallace says investigators are treating the deaths as homicides but would not discuss how the Plummers may have been killed.

Authorities described a pickup truck missing from the home as a 1998 Chevrolet with Oklahoma license plate number L-W-F-1-6-7.

This is the second double homicide in LeFlore County in recent weeks. A 27-year old man is charged with killing his parents on September 24th near Panama.
