(Charlotte, North Carolina-AP) -- Troy Aikman has heard it all in the last couple of weeks.

Just a week after the Oklahoma native was booed by Dallas fans as he took the field, he received a loud ovation in pregame introductions -- in North Carolina.

Hundreds of fans, wearing Cowboys jerseys welcomed Aikman to the field. The Cowboys beat the Panthers 16-to-13.

Aikman didn't have one of his better games, throwing for two interceptions. He finished 15-of-23 for 131 yards.
