(Undated-AP) -- Voters in Tahlequah and Pocola will consider one-cent sales taxes today, while voters in a number of school districts will decide school bond issues.
In Pocola, city officials have proposed a sales tax so that everybody who trades in the town will contribute toward repairs and upgrades in the city's sewer system.
And Tahlequah residents will vote on a tax to supplement the city hospital.
In other elections, school patrons in Putnam City are considering a 23-point-seven (m) million dollar bond issue for building maintenance and construction, among other things.
Edmond school patrons are considering three school bond issues totaling 14 (m) million dollars for construction and other projects.
The Muskogee School District I-20 has a seven-point-eight (m) million dollar bond issue and Jenks school patrons are considering an 11-point-68 (m) million dollar bond issue.
Bridge Creek voters were deciding a one-point-two (m) million dollar bond issue, and Weatherford school patrons in Weatherford are considering a bond issue that includes money for repairs and other things.
